Tucked inside the Green Bay Community House, the Fantail Room is like your favourite comfy lounge.
Whether you're hosting a group, teaching a class, running a workshop, or having a kōrero with your committee, this little gem is your go to. It's cozy, private, and full of character.
It's a cozy carpeted space, with super comfy soft furnishings, a Heat pump to keep you toasty in winter, breezy in summer.
Need to make a cuppa? then pop into the kitchen, which is fully stocked and ready to roll with a sparkling oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, hot water zip and all the crockery and cutlery you'll need.
Heads-up: There might be other happenings in the hall while you're doing your thing, but that’s all part of the friendly hum of community life!

A $250 bond hold will be placed on your credit card 3 days prior to the booking, and released 3 days after
This room is for meetings and classes only and is not available for separate party hire
No alcohol, smoking or vaping
No pets
Cleaning equipment is provided. You are expected to leave the venue as you found it.
Please take all rubbish with you
No sellotape push-pins, tacks or nails to be used on the painted walls
If you set off the fire alarm, there may be a fine if the fire service are called
Additional details
There are 12 free public car parking spaces at the front of the centre. This is a public carpark, so not exclusive to the building
Residential street parking is available within a short walk of the centre.
The centre is on the 195 bus route that connects Green Bay to New Lynn or the CBD. (Bus stop on Godley Road)
