About this space

The QEII Lower Hall is a flexible, mid-sized venue perfect for community programs, wellness classes, social gatherings, training sessions, and small to medium celebrations. Located within the QEII Seniors & Community Centre in Geraldton’s CBD, it offers easy access, inclusive facilities, and a welcoming atmosphere.

The Lower Hall accommodates up to 200 guests and includes a stage, dance floor, ceiling fans, sound equipment and shared access to a commercial kitchen. It also includes tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery, glassware, lectern and microphone. The space is ideal for groups who need functionality without the scale of the Upper Hall.

Booking requests made through SpacetoCo are pending only and not confirmed until they are approved by the QEII Team. Your booking is only final once you receive an official booking approval email from SpacetoCo. If you haven’t received confirmation within 3–5 business days, please message us via SpacetoCo or call the Centre directly.

CANCELLATIONS AND ADJUSTMENTS

  • Cancellation or adjustment made within 15-30 days before the event will incur a charge of 20% of the hire fee.
  • Cancellation or adjustment made within 8-14 days before the event will incur a charge of 50% of the hire fee.

  • Cancellation or adjustment made within 7 days before the event will incur a charge of 100% of the hire fee.

Applications must be made no less than 7 days prior to the booking date

Setup and pack-down must be completed by the hirer within the booked time

The hall must be left clean and tidy, with all rubbish removed

No smoking, vaping, or open flames inside or outside the building

Alcohol may be served with prior approval and correct licensing

Any damages or additional cleaning will be charged to the hirer

Noise levels must be kept respectful for nearby users

Additional details

Host's Cancellation Policy
100% refund on cancellations up until 14 days before your booking. After that, cancel and get a 50% refund.
Parking and Public Transport Information

There is sufficient free parking available adjacent to the QEII Seniors & Community Centre, including ACROD parking bays directly next to the building.
