Edward Smith Reserve Enclosed Cricket Nets
These enclosed cricket nets, located in Northfield adjacent to LJ Lewis Reserve, feature automated access and provide use of four (4) lanes in total. Access is available to two (2) lanes on the east (changeroom) side or two (2) lanes on the west (LJ Lewis oval) side. Lighting is provided to allow for evening use.
Cricket nets are available for organised club/group trainings (fees apply). Priority use is given to home clubs Para Vista Cricket Club and Adelaide Warriors Cricket Club.
When not booked, the nets are available for FREE community use.
Please note the following:
- The oval, changeroom and/or oval lighting and associated facilities are not bookable through Council. Booking requests are directed to North Adelaide Football Club.

Rules
Adult supervision is encouraged for users under 18 years old.
Only portable stumps to be used.
Cricket bags should be left outside the nets to maintain a safe space.
Before any use, it's important to assess the nets to ensure its safe and suitable. Any issues or concerns should be reported to Council as soon as possible.

The emergency door must only be used in the case of an emergency.
The entry gate must remain closed during your booking to prevent balls from leaving the enclosed area - an alarm will sound if left open.
Use the nets appropriately, be respectful of other users, and ensure the area is left clean and tidy after use.
In the event that damage is caused to the nets, the hirer may be liable to pay for the relevant costs to remediate the damage.
