Deloraine Riverbank

The Deloraine River Reserve runs along the Meander River from Emu Bay Road to the Rotary Park and in-between. It is a beautiful short walk looping around the riverbank in the heart of Deloraine. With plenty of greenspace, the reserve is also a great place to relax and take in the sights and sounds of the Meander River and is available for hire for a community event.

The Deloraine River Reserve has 4 hireable spaces. The Rotunda Space, East and West River Reserve and the Rotary Space. Please click on the floorplan tab above to view each hireable spaces parameter.

The reserve features a series of sculptures with more located on the Deloraine main street created by local artists. The Kooparoona Niara Cultural Trail also is park of the reserve, so you will learn about the rich local indigenous culture as you follow the trail. Look closely, there are wild Platypus living in the river, with the pontoon a great place for viewing and river access.

Over the Rotary bridge, you will make your way into the beautiful Deloraine Rotary Park. The parks wetlands have birds and plant life aplenty and with an abundance of shade and an excellent BBQ area, it is a lovely spot to relax and unwind on a weekend or afternoon during the week.

Parks & Reserves are free to hire for social gatherings. A $29.00 administration fee is required for bookings where users require additional rubbish bins, access to power and/ or water or road closures. This administration fee is not charged for not-for-profit organisations.
