About this space
‘Ercildoune’ is a former farming property dating back to 1850, the homestead built in 1888 is one of a small number of surviving late nineteen century farmhouses in the City of Casey and is significant as a superior and well preserved example of a Victorian Italianate villa. The City of Casey committed to restoring the homestead and surrounding landscape to create a space for locals to come together to connect, belong, learn and play.
Room 3 within the homestead is a lovely space suitable for up to 10 people. The room features:

Conduct:
All attendees must follow the Conditions of Hire
Be considerate of others by keeping noise to a minimum
Access
Rooms must only be used between approved hire times
Any space not booked is restricted during your hire including common areas
All bookings must include time for set up, pack up and cleaning
Safety & Capacity:
Follow Council emergency and evacuation procedures
Children under 18 must remain in the room and be supervised
Do not exceed the room’s maximum seated or standing capacity
Alcohol
- No alcohol permitted
Insurance
Public liability insurance (PLI) of $20 million is required for all venue hires. Any third-party contractors you engage, such as caterers, entertainers, equipment suppliers, or other service providers involved in your event, must also provide PLI of $20 million
