Bridgewater Community Room
About this space
Bridgewater Family and Community Centre offers a medium-sized community room for hire. This bright, flexible space is ideal for family and children's programs, education or training sessions, health and well-being sessions, or celebrations. The room measures 12.5 metres long by 8.3 metres wide with ceiling height of 2.6 metres at the lowest point. It can accommodate up to 70 people standing or 50 people seated around tables. The room is wheelchair accessible and offers a practical, welcoming venue for a wide range of programs and events.
Room hire includes:
Adults tables and chairs
Childrens tables and chairs
Access to shared kitchen including crockery, cutlery, oven, stove top, and fridge.
Projector (hirers must bring their own HDMI cable)
Heating/cooling
Outdoor area with sandpit and playground
Outdoor area with decking and electric BBQ.
Please note that jumping castles are not permitted at this facility.

All attendees must follow the Conditions of Hire.
Be considerate of others by keeping noise to a minimum.
Access
Rooms must only be used between approved hire times.
Any space not booked is restricted during your hire including common areas.
All bookings must include time for set up, pack up and cleaning.
Safety & Capacity:
Follow Council emergency and evacuation procedures.
Children under 18 must remain in the room and be supervised.
Do not exceed the room’s maximum seated or standing capacity.
Alcohol
- No alcohol permitted.
Insurance
Public liability insurance (PLI) of $20 million is required for all venue hires. Any third-party contractors you engage, such as caterers, entertainers, equipment suppliers, or other service providers involved in your event, must also provide PLI of $20 million.
