Ballan Library Quiet Room 1 - A peaceful, compact space ideal for small meetings, quiet study sessions, focused work, tutoring sessions, or small group discussions.
Room Capacity & Setup
Maximum capacity: 4 people
Furniture: 1 table and 4 chairs
Monitor/screen included with HDMI cable — bring your own adaptor if needed
Wi-Fi Access
Communal breakout space at the rear of the first floor
Includes hot water access
No crockery, cutlery, or consumables provided
Hirers may bring their own tea or coffee
All waste must be disposed of by the hirer
No washing-up facilities
Booking Details
Free to hire — no cost or security deposit
Maximum booking duration: 4 hours
Bookings only available during operating hours
Access provided by staff upon proof of booking
Usage Guidelines
No decorations allowed — no pins, tape, or Blu Tack on walls
Room must be left in its original setup

Rules
Room Clean-Up Responsibilities - Hirers must leave the meeting room in a clean and orderly state. This includes:
· Wiping down tables and benches
· Returning all furniture to its original arrangement
· Ensuring all Council-owned equipment remains in the room
· Removing all waste from the premises before departure
Prohibited Activities - Please note that alcohol, smoking, vaping and the use of naked flames including candles are strictly prohibited within this facility.

Designated parking spaces are available directly behind the Ballan Library and Community Hub, offering convenient access for visitors.
