I am so disappointed. I paid to have the space for private use ($78) and when I arrived there was already a party set up for a 4 year old. I obviously was not going to kick them out as I’m not cruel and wouldn’t do that to a little girl. I put signs up at the two entrance gates saying that the park was in use from 8:30-11:15 am for a private party and sorry for the inconvenience. However people ju...

Hi Katrina, We apologies that you did not understand the terms and conditions of hire for a public space, As per the information provided on the page, booking does not give you private use of the park, but a space that you desire for your party, eg the space under the tree or the far south corner, if you are wanting private use for a function we suggest a hall or private facility rather than a public park.
