Discover the Winton RSA Hall – a hub of community spirit and tradition! Our devoted team, comprised of local community members, takes pride in maintaining the rich principles and traditions of the RSA for over a century.
With a legacy of over 100 years, the Winton RSA has been a steadfast supporter of Returned Service Personnel and their families, offering unwavering support and welfare. Now, we invite you to experience the versatility of our hall, a perfect venue for various events.
Whether you're planning a wedding dance, tangi, birthday party, or a meeting – large or small – the Winton RSA Hall is the ideal setting. Additionally, we provide space for sports events such as bowls and yoga. Our separate lounge, adjacent to the main hall, offers an excellent space for gatherings, complemented by a well-equipped kitchen for hassle-free catering, making it suitable for smaller meetings and events.
Accessibility is a priority, with wheelchair access via a spacious concrete ramp leading up to the main doors. Inside, we have a dedicated wheelchair-accessible toilet for added convenience.

Rules
§ Weddings will be charged at rate of $150, for 1 full day and night hire.
§ A bond is required for certain bookings; this is at the discretion of the custodian.
§ The hall contains all the chairs that you may require and also a selection of trestle tables.
§ You will need to bring your own cutlery, glassware, crockery and cooking and serving equipment
§ You're welcome to use the kitchen for self-catering your event or with external caterers
§ You are welcome to decorate the hall space for your event. However, you cannot use pins or tape or anything that would damage the hall walls. Blu Tak is permitted
§ Please note the hall must be left as you found it, so all decorations, including ties, must be removed
§ Please no confetti, rice or party poppers in the outside area
§ A bond is taken when alcohol is served at an event
§ It's fine to use an external event hire company if you want to bring your own furniture, table cloths, drapes etc.
§ All decorations and anything you have brought in for your event must be removed by the end of your booking. We can't accommodate storage or setup/packdown before or after your booking time has ended. Please book the time you need in the hall space to set up, pack down and clean as the hall may be used directly before or after you.
§ Winton RSA Hall keys can be collected from Winton Library from Monday- Friday 9am-5pm. If required outside these times please collect keys the day before or contact Chase McDonald on 0273948253 to make arrangements.
