Whakamarama Community Centre

Whakamarama Hall is a warm sunny facility in a rural setting in the heart of Whakamarama Community.

Flooded with natural light the main hall takes full advantage of the rural vista. This main area is a large open space with radiant heating for the cooler months. There is a full kitchen which opens to the hall and the deck areas and a smaller bar area opening into the Hall.

Outside there is a large deck access via the slider doors and flows down to the grassy lawn and play area for the children.

The Hall has been recently renovated and features a modern commercially designed kitchen which opens into the main hall and deck areas and can be accessed through the main hall or separate external door. Facilities include commercial dishwasher, 2 freestanding stoves and microwave, hot water urn, full size fridge freezer. Retro style crockery, as well as cutlery and glasses are included in the hire.

The toilets are off the foyer area and feature separate nappy changing area and showers are also available.

There is also a smaller library room, separate to the main hall. This is a cosy comfortable carpeted room which is suitable for meetings or smaller groups.

In the storeroom there are plenty of tables and chairs.

The Whakamarama Hall is a community facility suitable for private and public use.
