About this space
Wavell Heights Community Hall (WHCH) is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the roadway. Nestled between Murray Duus Park and a beautiful duck pond, bordering a half basketball court and kids plagroun. The hall has two large, open, mutli-use spaces fit for a multitude of purposes.
This space boasts an open plan highlighted with a polished concrete floor. It has three accessible bathrooms and a small kitchenette which makes this space perfect for any smaller get together, training event, class, or informal gathering.
WHCH is maintained and managed as a project of the not-for-profit organisation, Nundah Community Enterprises Co-operative. We provide a supportive workplace for people with barriers to employment with cognitive and psycho-social disabilities. Hall users will also receive a free delivery offer for catering from our fellow project partner organisation, Espresso Train.
