Holyrood Park Dog Training Licence

Holyrood Park is a safe and expansive space for Dog Training activities.

The enclosed area facilitates safe dog activity and includes the following facilities:

• Fencing

• Large on-leash dog exercise area

• Park bench seating

• Litter bin

We welcome Dog Trainers to apply to use our many parks, reserves, beaches and sports grounds for their classes.

A valid Dog Training Licence is required for any organised dog training or obedience classes of three or more people who participate in paid classes run by a qualified trainer. Trainers must provide the Town with a copy of their Public Liability Insurance certificate of currency.

Booking Process:

1. Select the first date and time you would like to use the space (your Dog Training Licence will begin on this date) and click Start Booking

2. Answer the Dog Training Licence application questions

3. Select the appropriate Dog Training Licence item dependent on the average number of attendees

4. Tell us a little about your activities on the Booking Reason page

5. Submit your payment and submit your application

6. Once your application has been submitted please message the Town a copy of your public liability insurance and training plan (including the days, times, and duration of your sessions) through the SpacetoCo messaging system. You can operate at up to three open spaces and so please advise the Town if you'd like to conduct Dog Training sessions at other Town of Cambridge open spaces.
