About this space
The Redhill Community Centre is owned and operated by the Papakura Community Trust, and exists to support community development, education, welfare and spirit. Basically, we’re all about community… we love to see groups and individuals come together in a safe space to support each other, have fun, learn from each other, and be a community together.
Our seminar room is a smaller sized room perfect for meetings, brainstorming sessions, adult learning, and small group gatherings.
The room has a couch and trestle tables and extra seating is available for up to 12 people. The furniture can be configured how you like.
COVID-19 ALERT LEVEL 2
Your safety and well-being and that of our staff and volunteers is of utmost importance to us. Therefore we will be closely following Ministry of Health guidelines for Alert Level 2. These measures include meeting contact tracing and physical distancing requirements, and extra cleaning measures.

Limited photocopying is available at a cost of 20c for B&W or $2 for colour (price is per A4 sheet, whether single- or double-sided)
CATERING AND DRINKS
We have a commercial grade community kitchen and cafe space that can be hired out at the discounted rate of $25 + GST ($28.75 incl GST) per hour if you’re hiring the seminar room or any of our other rooms. This could be used to cater or store food for your event. The cafe area can seat up to 40 people. Hiring our cafe & kitchen space can be done through the Additional Items and Charges at checkout. Please hire for the time you need to set up and clean down, as well as how long you need to prepare and serve your food.
The kitchen includes an electric stove, gas hobs, hot water urn, family size fridge-freezer, commercial dishwasher, teapots, coffee plungers, milk and water jugs, and basic utensils, crockery, cutlery, glassware and serving equipment. Use of these is included in the cost of the hire, but you are responsible for washing all dishes you use and leaving the kitchen clean and tidy.
You’re welcome to self cater your event and serve it in the seminar room. If you wish to do this, please bring your utensils and serving equipment with you. A portable urn is available for use at no charge, on request.
We can also provide morning/afternoon tea and lunch catering for your event (sourced from a local bakery). Please see the options in our Additional Items and Charges or message us if you have a specific requirement. Tea, coffee, milk and sugar can be provided at no charge, on request.
If your event is outside of the hours shown as available, please use the message button under our profile picture to request a specific date and time. You’re welcome to view the facilities any time we’re open, providing another booking for the room is not in progress.
The seminar room is on the ground floor. The doors to the room can be opened up to full width to allow for easier access for wheelchairs or mobility aids.
If you are a registered charity, you can use the discount code NFP when you make a booking enquiry. You will need to message us with your charity registration number (starts with CC...) so that we can confirm you are a currently registered charity.
We have plenty of free parking.
Redhill Community Centre is located a five-minute drive from the Papakura town centre, which has several supermarkets, cafes and convenience stores.
There is a train station at Papakura. From there you can catch bus 373 (Papakura-Redhill loop), which has stops in Redcrest Crescent that are a three-minute walk from Redhill Community Centre.
We’re across the road from the lovely Keri Downs Park for walks and fresh air.
