About this Space

The Esplanade is an iconic heritage hotel in the heart of Devonport. Situated on the sparkling waterfront, a mere minute from the ferry services, this location could not be more ideal for your event. Our hotel venue provides refined elegance, friendly staff and service and freshly made delicious food and beverage options. As we also have 15 guest rooms and an onsite cafe, bar and restaurant, everything you need is here for you and your guests.
The Victoria Suite is a luxurious apartment room available for gatherings that require privacy and comfort. The space can be set up for a meeting, small conference, private dining, board meeting - and other options, just let us know what you need. We can provide table and chairs for a formal meeting set up or create a cozy lounge style set up in front of the fireplace. The space has a private bathroom, dressing area, bedroom and kitchenette.
The room hire includes: set up to your requirements, wifi, flipchart, pens and pads, water jugs and glasses.

Food & Drink
We have a number of delicious options to make catering for your guests. These can easily be pre-ordered by selecting at checkout. We will reach out to you to finalise dietary requirements 10 days before the event at the latest.
Morning Tea: $15 per guest, Includes Espresso coffee, tea or juice and 2 of the following: Gluten free orange and almond slice, warm sugar spice madeleines, double chocolate brownie, berry muffin.
Lunch: $25 per guest - 1 item each from our seasonal A la carte menu (salads, burgers, wraps and pizzas)
Afternoon Tea: $15 per guest Includes Espresso coffee, tea or juice and 2 of the following: Gluten free orange and almond slice, warm sugar spice madeleines, double chocolate brownie, berry muffin or scone with jam and cream.
Standard High Tea: $49 per person - selection of scones, sandwiches and delightful deserts served on vintage china with Harney tea or Espresso Coffee.
Celebration Tea: $59 - as above with a glass of bubbles.
Set Menu Dinner: $55/65 per person, 2/3 courses - arranged on discussion per your requirements.
Example menu: Halloumi Salad, Lamb Shank & Truffle Mash, Apple Crumble and Ice Cream.

100% refund on cancellations up until 7 days before your booking. After that, no refunds on cancellation.
