Matawhānui is our largest community room and sits alongside our communal courtyard. This room is suitable for a range of uses. It has 2 wall-mounted smart TVs, tables and chairs, and its own bathroom. Matawhānui can comfortably accommodate up to 80 people. It is located on the ground floor within the Wainui building of Te Mātāwai, 139 Greys Ave.

Getting here:
Te Mātāwai is near bus stops on Pitt St, Greys Ave, Mayoral Dr and Hobson St. It's also close to the Hobson St/Nelson St and Newton Gully motorway on/off-ramps, and Northwestern cycleway.
Parking:
There is paid on-street parking and paid carparks available on Greys Ave, including the YMCA, Wilsons and The Civic car parks.
