About this space
Under Phase 4 WA COVID-19 restrictions the maximum capacity of the Swan Community Room is 40. When Phase 5 is introduced it will return to 50 (planned 15 August).
Heathcote Cultural Precinct offers venues for hire within a range of historic buildings nestled among manicured gardens with picturesque surrounds and Swan River views.
Swan House Community Room (pictured) is located beside the playground. The space accommodates a maximum of 50 standing and 30 seated and is suitable for a range of events, including birthday parties, dance or yoga classes, training programs, workshops and gatherings.
Swan House Community Room is equipped with one main space, a smaller adjoining room, kitchenette, accessible toilets and foyer. The kitchenette includes a full-size fridge, microwave, stove and oven, urn, cups and saucers. The space comes equipped with 10 trestle tables (150cm x 80cm), 30 chairs, whiteboard and projector screen. A projector can be provided upon request for an additional $30 fee (subject to availability).
Heathcote Cultural Precinct is home to Heathcote Museum & Gallery, artist studios, workshop spaces, a world class restaurant and a popular children's playground. More information about the Precinct can be found at www.heathcotewa.com. Please note that this room is located next to the Childrens School of Contemporary Art so there may be some overflowing noise during their scheduled classes.
