  1. Smoking and vaping is not permitted within any Facility, or within 10m of venue.

  2. Hirers are to clearly state the nature and type of activity that is to take place on their booking.

  3. The Facility is not to be booked for 16th , 18th or 21st birthday parties.

  4. Animals or pets are not permitted in the building.

  5. The Facility is located in a residential area. Therefore, it is expected that the surrounding residents be respected. Noise associated with your function is to be kept to a minimum and must comply with legal counsel requirements, to avoid disturbing surrounding neighbours as per City of Hume regulations.

  6. Alcohol must only be consumed within the Facility. Alcohol is not permitted to be consumed outside the building (e.g. in carparks, doorways or walkways).

  7. Venue capacity is to be strictly adhered to and is not to be exceeded under any circumstances.

  8. No Blutack, tape, push-pins, nails, screws, tacks or any other fastenings are not to be driven in or attached in any way to the walls, floors, timber work, ceilings, furniture or fittings.

  9. Carparks in front of the venue and street parking is available. Lawn area is Not to be used for carparking.

10. No BBQs indoors. You may set up a BBQ outside.

11. Throwing of confetti, glitters, sprays, poppers, or rice is not permitted. A minimum of $50 charge will be deducted from the Hirer’s bond if such materials are left in the Facility.

12. All Incorporated (Commerical or Not for Profit) Organisations must have their own public liability insurance.

13. All hirers are to ensure that the hall is swept clean and all rubbish removed.

14. If you set off the fire alarm, there may be a fine if the fire service are called.

15. Any additional costs will be deducted from the bond. Any costs incurred in excess of the bond will be the responsibility of the Hirer. These include, but are not limited to, damage to or destruction of the Facility and damage to surrounding areas including residences.

a. Balloons and decorations: minimum $50 removal fee, more if balloons are difficult to remove, are tangled in fans, or are numerous.

b. Cleaning/rubbish removal fee – minimum $50

16. As an active Scout Hall occasionally our Scouts will need external access to the garage to load and unload trailers from a camp. The garage is not part of the hirable space but if this creates any access issues feel free to introduce yourselves and discuss any issues that arise with a Leader.

100% refund on cancellations up until 7 days before your booking. After that, cancel and get a 50% refund.
Parking and Public Transport Information

Plenty of street parking. Sunbury Train Station is just a 5 minute walk. The lawn area next to the hall is NOT to be used as a car park.
