Scout & Community Hall for Hire | South Surrey Park Melbourne

Set in the tranquil surrounds of South Surrey Park in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, our hall provides an easy and affordable option for hosting group events such as community/club meetings and functions, trivia nights, dance and fitness classes, private gatherings, birthdays and other functions and celebrations.

The open space provides room for up to 100 people and 50 seated, with heating/air conditioning and handy access to kitchen and bathroom facilities and adjacent parklands. Tram stops (route 70), local shops and cafes are only a short walk away.

Both casual and recurring bookings are welcome, with discounts available for regular hirers. Feel free to message us through this page to ask questions and discuss any specific needs.

- 7 trestle tables, 30 folding/stackable chairs and benches available for seating up to 50 guests (hirers are welcome to BYO if additional needed)

- access to all kitchen facilities, including modern oven/stovetop, microwave, fridge, tea and coffee making, sink, crockery/utensils and a handy serving area

- two separate bathrooms, and separate shower room (downstairs)

- remote-controlled, split systems in main hall for heating and cooling

- wall mounted TV available for presentations (BYO cables)

- offstreet parking available with more available in surrounding streets, and #70 tram stop nearby on Riversdale Road
