About this space
The Edwardstown Soldiers' Memorial Recreation Ground is a modern sporting and recreation complex providing excellent facilities to the community.
We have two function spaces available for hire Monday to Friday 5 pm to 11 pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am to 11pm.
The Northern Function Room overlooks the oval & hills with AV facilities and seating up to 150 people.
The Southern Function Room overlooks the oval & hills with AV facilities and seating up to 80 people.
The rooms can be seamlessly combined to create one large function space with the capacity to seat 230 people and a large adjoining undercover balcony.
Edwardstown Soldiers' Memorial Recreation Ground is the perfect for workshops, meetings and self catering functions.
There are no bar or kitchen facilities available for hire making this the ideal location for those wanting to self-cater food and refreshments.

To ensure that everyone enjoys their time with us, and to ensure all hires run smoothly, we have established some space rules. These are designed to maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for all guests. By adhering to these space rules, we can all ensure that your hire is a success and that future guests can also enjoy our facilities.
At the Edwardstown Soldiers' Memorial Recreation Ground:
We are unable to accommodate 18th or 21st birthday functions.
BYO alcohol is permitted, however, no sale of alcohol is allowed. Please refer to the Liquor Licensing information in the Facility Terms and Conditions. Please follow the link for liquor licence information SA.GOV.AU - Apply for a liquor licence (www.sa.gov.au)
Prior approval is required for amplified sound or amusement structures.
Please refrain from using nails, screws, sticky tape, or tacks to fix decorations on any hard surface.
Avoid the use of free-floating balloons, confetti, and rice.
Kindly maintain the venue's cleanliness and leave it as you found it.
