About this space

William Nelson Park is a popular inner city park that includes plenty of grass for picnicking and relaxing, a playground and a skate plaza.

The skatepark has been designed to provide a challenge for skateboarders, in-line bladers and BMXers, while also being accessible for less confident users. Given it is such a busy space, the park is overseen by park guardians, based in a kiosk on site from midday to 9pm, seven days a week.

The playground has climbing frames and swings.
