Thanks to the excellent camp hosts, we finally cracked the code on how we could apply the world's worst online booking system to achieve a booking for 3 days. It is hard to know how anyone could devise a harder system. Anyhow, the campsite is fine for those of us who aren't interested in, or need caravan parks as the mainstay of our accommodation needs. $60 per night is very steep for an 'overflow' campsite - extortion would be a better description. This poor rating is only about the archaic booking process, and the Council's price. The volunteer (unpaid) camp hosts have been excellent.
