This site is quite uneven and a pile of ash and bottle caps left under the tree. The toilets nearby are quite disgusting as there is no provision for a brush and bucket of cleanser so users can leave the toilet in a fit state. The location though is beautiful but I will rather opt for a site near to the flush toilets next time.

The beautiful Sandy Cape Recreation Park is a coastal bushland campground with 112 unpowered sites accessible by two-wheel drive vehicle. Some additional camping areas are available along the coastal strip to the north and south of the main campground. These areas are only available to campers travelling by high clearance 4x4 vehicle with self-contained accommodation, with toilet.
