This is an absolutely lovely spot. It'd been raining very heavily and when we arrived a lot of the areas were covered in water but luckily the site we had booked was on high ground. The wind was pretty strong overnight but the tent stood up. Definitely a great spot.

What a great campground !! We will definitely be staying here again. The grounds are beautiful, great bathrooms. The groundskeeper is an absolute legend & funny !

The beautiful Sandy Cape Recreation Park is a coastal bushland campground with 112 unpowered sites accessible by two-wheel drive vehicle. Some additional camping areas are available along the coastal strip to the north and south of the main campground. These areas are only available to campers travelling by high clearance 4x4 vehicle with self-contained accommodation, with toilet. Please always respect the fragile natural environment and treat it with care. Enjoy your stay at Sandy Cape
