SpacetoCo Host since May 2022We run and maintain the Latin American Cultural centre to host private events, reunions, celebrations, meetings, as well as diverse academies and artists that promote Latin American dance and artistic forms.
About this space
Welcome to the the first ever Latin American Cultural Centre in Canberra.
A hub for Latin American Culture that supports the wider community as well as other groups that promote the culture by giving them a space where they can thrive. We are the home of family celebrations, cultural events, training sessions, Spanish classes, Tango, Bachata, Salsa, Zumba dance lessons. Mexican cooking workshops and Handcraft markets. Here you can watch Latin American films and find books. Latin American artists use the space to showcase their works. The Spanish Pioneros scouts also meet here to do their fun activities. This is a space for the older generation to gather and for the young to celebrate fiestas.
The centre is much more than just bricks and mortar, it is a place full of life, a space where community comes together to share and learn. A project that transcends current generations by becoming part of the fabric of our society where tolerance and diversity is valued and cherised.

Rules
The applicant cannot use the bins on the premises to dispose of his/her rubbish and needs to ensure the premises are cleaned and left as he/she has found them on arrival. We reserve the right to deduct for rubbish disposal and cleaning charges from the bond should these conditions not be adhered to.
The hirer must ensure they have their own Covid-Safe plan during the Event.
