Northern Beaches Community Hub multi-purpose court

Mackay Regional Council offers the Northern Beaches Community Hub multi-purpose court as a welcoming and inclusive space for the community. The undercover court is available for residents to use and can be booked by sporting and community groups for a variety of activities.

The court features line marking and equipment for basketball, netball, futsal, and pickleball, making it a flexible venue for both casual and organised sport. An adjoining kitchenette and amenities are available. Balls are not provided

To the south of the court, families and visitors can enjoy a nature play area that includes a giant crocodile amphitheatre, climbing net, swings, a slide, balance beam and climbing rocks set in a dry creek bed. A nearby grassed area with picnic shelters provides a perfect spot for relaxation and socialising.

The Northern Beaches Community Hub is conveniently located opposite Mackay Northern Beaches State High School, between Rosewood Drive and Eimeo Road.

Council appreciates your patience while the construction of Stage 1B is undertaken. Dust and noise are expected on-site during construction. Due to ongoing works, the swing set, climbing net, two car parks and the loading bay will be unavailable for the duration of Stage 1B’s construction. Use of free sports gear
