About this space
Hold your next personal training session, pilates class or community group meet-up at Leighton Beach. Nearby to accessible toilets, changerooms, showers, plenty of free parking. Ideal swell to conduct surf schools all year round. This booking gives the hirer the right of USE of the space. It does not guarantee exclusivity; this is still a public space and can be used as such.
For fitness groups & personal trainers use the discount code "FITNESS-GROUP" to apply the discount day rate of $15 p/hr.
For all other commercial bookings please ensure to apply the commercial fee to your booking. For larger events of over 50 people, please contact the City's Events Team [email protected]
The City does not take bookings for private gatherings including picnics, parties, or weddings.
SURF SCHOOLS
Surf Schools please book areas 2,3 or 4. Up to two operates may be permitted to use the same area at the same time. The below seasonal rates are available for Surf Schools wishing to operate on the beach. For casual hirers use the following discount codes when making your bookings. The set fee will be applied to your booking on approval. Public liability is required for all seasonal bookings.
Winter (April–September): $798.00 - discount code WINTER
Summer (October–March): $852.00 - discount code SUMMER
Full Year Access (12 months from booking date): $1,600.00 - discount code FULL YEAR

Rules
Hirers must keep the beach area in front of the Life Saving club clear
Hirers cannot intrude on the operations of permanent businesses. Complaints will result with future bookings being cancelled.
Vehicles are not to be driven on reserves under any circumstances without prior approval.
No rubbish to be left on site
Signage such as teardrop flag, Aframe billboards, posters etc can only be on display during the booking period.
Hirers cannot erect any infrastructure without prior approval from the council.
No amplified music to be played.
No fires.
The City does not take bookings for private gatherings including picnics, parties, or weddings.
Our beaches and reserves are public spaces. Every endeavour should be made by the hirer to offer any unused space to the general public to use.
