About this space
The Manjedal School (later called the Mundijong School and now known as "the House") has high historical and social significance being the oldest surviving school building in the Shire of Serpentine-Jarrahdale. Having been built in 1896, it may also be one of the earliest timber school complexes still existing in the State. Despite its new use, the Federation-style building remains a relatively intact example of an early school, in its building and layout .The site is enclosed by a mid-height steel a mesh fence and is set amongst mature trees, shrubs and gardens. It is the ideal location for playgroups, small gatherings and meetings.
The 125-year-old building is now available to the community for hire.

Rules
Facilities must not be accessed outside of the approved booking times stipulated on the booking confirmation. All booking requests must include set up and packdown for your event.
Should alcohol be sold, approval from the Department of Racing and Gaming is required.
the facility is left in a clean and tidy state inclusive of mopping, surface cleaning and removal of all rubbish and personal items.
Amplified sound is kept to a minimum.
Drawing pins, nails, screws, adhesive tape and blue tack must not be used to affix decorations.

Cancellations given with less than 30 days notice will incur a 25% cancellation fee.
