About this space
Mountain River Hall stands as a testament to the resilience of rural Tasmania and its communities. Built in 1969 after the devastating 1967 bushfires, it has become a key geographic and social landmark for the Mountain River community.
Community Hub: The hall can host diverse events, from formal meetings to casual gatherings, supporting craft groups, committees, book clubs, exercise classes, and social organisations.
Family-Friendly Amenities: Outdoor features like a fenced playground and picnic tables enhance its appeal for family gatherings, allowing parents to supervise children while participating in adult activities. These amenities create seamless indoor-outdoor event opportunities, making the hall a versatile venue year-round.
