Creative Maker Space, West Auckland

Check out West Auckland's RE: MAKER SPACE which is a hub that delivers practical, creative and innovative pathways that unlock value from localised waste streams and regenerates our living systems. Creating the epicentre for a movement that will connect our creative community and green entrepreneurs to ideas, resources, equipment and education to support a sustainable, low carbon way of living.

RE: MAKER SPACE has a separate woodworking area, sewing room and creative space to work from. You enter through the communal kitchen/ refillery area where our creative hang out and inspire one another. Then members can enter the woodworking space through a swipe card or casual users can head upstairs to our creative space through the sewing room. The space is set up for teaching and creating with materials that already exist with a focus on wood and textiles.

The Creative Space can be rented by the public for workshops, meetings, birthday parties and other events.

The Creative space can seat up to 30 seated participants on 3 long tables. The room hire includes use of screen, whiteboard (in sewing room) and wi-fi.

Additionally, the creative space has a wall tv which can be used for meetings or training.

This space can be used for; workshops, meetings, fashion courses, woodworking courses, yoga & pilates, and classes for children.
