About this space
John Hardwick Centre is a venue with four space that can be hired individually or together, and is equipped with a foyer space, air conditioning and heating, a small kitchen and accessible toilets. The kitchen includes a full-size fridge, microwave, stove and oven, urn and small selection of cups and plates.
Located in Manning, close to the CBD with free parking and easy public transport access. These large and natural lit spaces can be hired individually or together.
Community Hall - high raked ceilings with windows provide natural light and an open foyer perfectly positioned to welcomes guests. Perfect for birthday parties, dance or exercise classes, presentations, AGMs, training or large group social activities.
Connect Space - a medium-sized area with connecting space to an outdoor courtyard. Suitable for training, workshops and gatherings.
Create Space - a small-sized room designed for comfort and connection, this relaxed lounge space is ideal for meaningful conversations, small group sessions or informal meetings.
Champion Space - get down to business in this office that is suitable for people or organisations looking for a casual office space to conduct interviews or host small meetings.

Rules
Hire period: There is a minimum two hour hire period
Rates: Not-for-profit discount rate available at check-out
After-hours events: This venue can be booked outside of standard business hours for events. We ask that you are mindful and respectful of neighbouring houses
Cleaning: The hirer is responsible for the set up and clean up of the venue. This must be done within the time that has been hired. Hirers must bring their own cleaning products. Rubbish must be removed from venue by hirer. Bins are located onsite beside the Southcare Community Support building.
Licences: any licences required for the type of event holding is the responsibility of the hirer eg. liquor licence.
Decorations: No adhesives, stickers, sticky tape, blue tack, etc, are to be attached to walls during decoration. Over time, these damage the building and bonds will be held for any damage.

COVID-19 regulations: It is the hirers responsibility to comply with all current State Government COVID-19 restrictions and regulations or Department of Health directives. Failure to comply may result in fines and cancellation of future hires.
WA Plastics Ban: You must also adhere to the WA Plastics Ban. We ask you to use non-plastic alternatives and re-usable items as part of ongoing sustainability practices.
