Lounge and meeting space with kitchenette and free parking in Remuera

St Aidan’s Church is in the heart of Remuera and is happy to provide affordable friendly spaces to serve our local and wider community. Our Social Lounge is a popular venue for hire which is great for meetings, parties and social or community gatherings. It has lots of natural light and a small concrete deck area that is great for warm sunny days. The room hire includes:

• 50 Chairs

• Screen (BYO projector)

The kitchen is en-suite to the room and has a stove, oven, fridge and a limited amount of cutlery and crockery which you are welcome to use. We recommend you bring everything you need if you are catering your event. Bring your own tea & coffee supplies. You're welcome to bring external caterers. You may serve beer or wine, but no spirits. You may only sell alcohol if you have a liquor licence.

We recommend the room for workshops, training, meetings, rehearsals, celebrations, afternoon teas, kids activities, singing groups, meet ups, coffee mornings and lots of other uses!

No confetti, rice, petals or helium balloons are allowed in any of St Aidan's buildings or grounds.

Accessibility

The Lounge is not suited for wheelchairs as access is via stairs.

Nearby

We are a 5 minute walk from Remuera village which has plenty of great coffee shops and eateries. We're also close to Mount Hobson, if you want to stretch your legs and get a 360 degree view of Auckland.

Covid-19

While there are no specific requirements regarding masks or vaccinations, we do ask that you are maintain social distancing and open doors for increased airflow wherever possible. If someone in your group tests positive for Covid-19 after your booking we also request that you let us know, to allow for additional sanitization to be undertaken, and we can alert subsequent users to reduce their risk of infection.
