About this Space

Victoria Hall is a stunning 125-year-old building located on High St in central Fremantle. As the space is heritage-listed there are certain limitations on the venue that require strict enforcement, however, there is also much potential for all types of events to take place!

The LESSER HALL of the space is suitable for all types of events, not limited to but including;

Workshops
Rehearsals
Art Classes (dance, performance, drawing, etc)

Booking is subject to review by FTC and City of Fremantle. This portal is a way for you to get in touch with Victoria Hall and does not guarantee hire, rates or availability. Booking will need to be negotiated and confirmed by Victoria Hall staff upon the submission of your dates, numbers, intended usage information and physical event needs. Only then can we properly confirm and permit a hire.

Every hire will require payment in advance including a Bond (with a likely minimum of 25% of your overall hire) and a Cleaning Fee where applicable. Every hirer will need to sign a Conditions of Hire document to show they appreciate the heritage status of the venue and accept that they will be accountable for any damage caused to the venue during their hire, and that it will be their's to properly rectify financially.

Pricing:

$50.00/hr - Lesser Hall for Meetings/Rehearsals/Classes - 2 hours minimum (over 5 hours necessitates a Daily Charge)
Maximum Daily Charge $350.00

**Conditions of Hire:

*_\_The heritage venue is to be respected and taken care of, as are all properties made available to you as a hirere throughout the duration of your hire.

*Booking cancellation fees apply. 50% of a booking will be charged if cancellation occurred within a 14 day period ahead of any main hall booking and any cancellation within a 72 hour period prior to the booking will incur the full cost of the agreed upon booking.

*PA Hire is $200 per day, and FTC's new professional event Chairs may be hired from $2 a chair per day for events over over 150 person, $3 a day for smaller events. Projector Hire can be arranged at a rate of $250 a day.

*Please do not ask for discount rates for NFPs, as we are a volunteer organisation currently and we are investing maintaining the venue at great expense so that it can be available to the community. In the instance your event is obviously worth further support we will discuss it, and if you are a regular hirer or keen to set up a longer-term hire, we will offer discounted rates to match that commitment.

*Production hirers/producers need to be in possession of their own Public Liability Insurance to cover their staff, audience and practices and are wholly responsible to any damage cause to the venue by their actions over the course of their hire. As a heritage venue, there is an expectation that the venue be respected. Obviously, nothing is to be fixed to the walls or drilled into floors, painted or permanently change, or any such, without the explicit approval of the venue management. The event production company, aka. the hirer, will be liable to pay the cost on any and all repairs caused to the venue.

**PLEASE NOTE: The Dugite Bar is a licensed bar and as such we cannot allow BYO for any events under any circumstances - however the bar can manage any events needs upon request.
