Large & Modern Auditorium for Conferences, Shows and Gatherings in West Auckland

Our main auditorium is a glorious space with high ceilings, modern set up and technology that will enable you to create a beautiful event and experience for your guests. This is normally used for our Sunday services and we welcome bookings from our community for shows, ceremonies, concerts, seminars, conferences and celebrations.

The space is very flexible and can work for lots of different formats. The room has a large staged area with a 3metre screen backdrop for presentations. Two additional screens are to the left and right of the stage. The auditorium can seat 400 theatre style or up to 250 seated around tables.

The space hire includes our comfy red chairs that we use for our congregation and we have tables that can be used. We're happy to help with additional options if you want something more bespoke, or you can use a supplier of your choice. Also included is a comfortable and private breakout or breastfeeding room that can have a live feed from the main auditorium.

Multimedia

You're welcome to use our space with a simple mike and speakers set up, however if you have something more ambitious in mind, then this space is kitted out to make that happen. We have rigged lighting, a sound/lighting/media control centre and your event can be recorded or live streamed. If you need AV services, please purchase an hourly operator at checkout and we will be in touch to confirm the details. Pricing may be amended depending on requirements and how much we can negotiate with our supplier. It has free Wifi.

Catering and Alcohol

You're welcome to book and use our community kitchen to prepare meals for your event. You're also welcome to use your own external caterer or chat to us about local suppliers that we recommend. There are lots of options that work well in this space:

Formal dining: The space can be set up with tables and chairs for a formal dinner to be served by caterers

Casual dining: You can set up a buffet and let people serve themselves

Community meals: You can serve meals from the serving space in the kitchen and use the cafe for informal seating

Coffee and morning tea: Hire our barista and serve light meals in our cafe space

Alcohol is permitted for business related events, however prior approval is necessary. Please contact us to obtain approval.

Green Room/ Set Up space

If you're running a large event or show, consider booking our events hall for a green room or dressing room space. Click View Hosts Other Spaces at the top to see this.

Cleaning

For the auditorium, please purchase the additional cleaning fee at checkout as this space requires professional cleaning after use.

Access

Please book for the time you need to set up and pack down the space. Someone will be on hand to help you get set up and show you where things are. The space is wheelchair accessible and we have disabled toilets.
