About this Space
The Laratinga Pavilion is a State of the Art new facility nestled in the Laratinga Wetlands. It is surrounded by nature and perfect for groups where both the pavilion and outdoor area can be used for weddings, string quartet, school groups, environmental groups. Why not hire the space for a meeting and then a tour of the beautiful wetlands?
You will find all of the details that you require for hiring this facility in the descriptions below and by reading the Space's Terms and Conditions (Information for Hirers booklet) at the end of this page. Please ensure that you print this booklet. Availability can be confirmed on the right-hand side of the page.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE HIRE OF THIS FACILITY CAN ONLY BE HIRED UNDER THE NEW COVID RULES WHICH PRESENTLY ALLOWS FOR A MAXIMUM OF 81 PEOPLE TO USE THE PAVILION HALL AT THE ONE TIME.
As a hirer, you will need to follow this link to create and upload to this site a COVID-19 Safe Plan: https://www.covid-19.sa.gov.au/recovery/create-a-covid-safe-plan . If your activity hire is for a meeting, you do not need to create and upload a COVID-19 Safe Plan, as Council already has one.

The Laratinga Pavilion has two options for hire:
Pavilion Hall with access to outside deck, grassed area, access to external power, deck furniture, 2 external public unisex disabled toilets & shared internal shared toilets (Accommodates up to 81 people) - $75 per hour;
Pavilion Hall with access to outside deck, grassed area, access to external power, deck furniture & 2 external public unisex disabled toilets (Accommodates up to 50 people) - $55 per hour.
Additional facilities for hire are:
Pavilion Hall kitchen – flat rate $35;
Use of 3 x Solstice Screen Casting, HDMI connections and Wi-Fi for Pavilion Hall – flat rate $30;
Bond - flat rate $500;
Optional cleaning fee - flat rate $120 (note: as hirer you will still be required to remove your rubbish off site and ensure all dishes are washed and put away);
Rushes Room (Accommodates up to 7 people) - $20 per hour (this room leads from the Pavilion Hall).

Rules
Please book enough time to allow you to set up before your event and enough time to clean, wash/dry dishes and return furniture to where it belongs, removing all your items and rubbish after your event.
No alcohol is to be sold on the Premises, unless a copy of any applicable Liquor Licence is provided to Council before any such event, and consent has been granted.
All breakages must be reported to Council. An audit of all equipment, including crockery and cutlery will be made after your hire.
Please note that if Council deems the activity proposed to require security, all costs associated will be at the expense of the hirer.
No smoking is allowed. A dedicated smoking area is located on the other side of the car park, at the end of the community shed area.
Please read the Emergency Evacuation Plan located near the front entrance door and in the Information for Hirers booklet prior to your booking. Please note that the Evacuation Assembly point is to the left out of the entrance of the Pavilion, through to the far side of the car parking area.
Please be aware if you are booking the internal toilet facilities, they are shared with Council staff during office hours.
The hirer must provide a Public Risk Insurance Policy from a reputable insurer, however if the hirer intends to use the Laratinga Pavilion for a one off ad-hoc event, Public Risk Insurance may be covered under Council's Insurance Policy. Please see clause 3.1.4 of the Terms and Conditions on page 6 or the FAQ's on page 12 of the Information for Hirers booklet.

By car - enter via the entrance road to St Francis de Sales Soccer Pitch - turn left into first car park entrance.
By bus - bus stop 69 on Springs Road.
