A bit dusty & windy the weekend we went (which can’t be helped). Only long drop toilets which ran out of toilet paper but otherwise within a decent standard. Would improve out of sight with properly maintained showers & toilets, and perhaps even a water truck for dusty/windy days, and people would pay more.

Level site, not too open to the elements. Close to toilet and an easy walk to beach from this site.

The beautiful Sandy Cape Recreation Park is a coastal bushland campground with 112 unpowered sites accessible by two-wheel drive vehicle. Some additional camping areas are available along the coastal strip to the north and south of the main campground. These areas are only available to campers travelling by high clearance 4x4 vehicle with self-contained accommodation, with toilet. Please always respect the fragile natural environment and treat it with care. Enjoy your stay at Sandy Cape
