Great spot. Well kept toilets and very little litter (toilet paper etc.) around the grounds. Beach is just over the dune, basically on your doorstep and there is less seaweed up this end of the beach.

I can see the attraction of Sandy Cape. Beautiful spot if you're prepared for all kinds of weather expected along the coast. Well kept and run by a friendly host.

The beautiful Sandy Cape Recreation Park is a coastal bushland campground with 112 unpowered sites accessible by two-wheel drive vehicle. Some additional camping areas are available along the coastal strip to the north and south of the main campground. These areas are only available to campers travelling by high clearance 4x4 vehicle with self-contained accommodation, with toilet.
