Large space between the dunes. Strong wind as expected for time of year. Beautiful sunset and quiet overnight. Now off for a swim.

I don’t like the booking system, you should be able to put in dates and then find which site is available, instead of going to each site to see if you can have it.

Not sure where / how you booked, but you definitely can do this when using the recommended online booking site: https://www.spacetoco.com/org/shire-of-dandaragan/stay You'll find if you enter your accommodation type and dates at the top of the page, the booking system will filter to show what is available to match your requirements. This is much easier than viewing sites one by one :-) If nothing is displayed, then all sites are booked.

The beautiful Sandy Cape Recreation Park is a coastal bushland campground with 112 unpowered sites accessible by two-wheel drive vehicle. Some additional camping areas are available along the coastal strip to the north and south of the main campground. These areas are only available to campers travelling by high clearance 4x4 vehicle with self-contained accommodation, with toilet. Please always respect the fragile natural environment and treat it with care. Enjoy your stay at Sandy Cape
