Website for booking is the worst.Sight 69 is small and grubby. We booked for 3 nights but stayed 1. The wind was terrible and so much stinky seaweed. Toilets are pretty filthy.

Idyllic setting right next to a beach. Great if self-contained. Some areas need a 4WD but our campervan was fine on the main campground.

Sandy Cape is a beautiful place to stay however this time we left early because of the horrendous winds, you could not even walk on the beach but these are attributed to cyclone Narelle not a normal situation for this place. Will definitely be back.

The beautiful Sandy Cape Recreation Park is a coastal bushland campground with 112 unpowered sites accessible by two-wheel drive vehicle. Some additional camping areas are available along the coastal strip to the north and south of the main campground. These areas are only available to campers travelling by high clearance 4x4 vehicle with self-contained accommodation, with toilet.
