Sandy Cape never disappoints for a small getaway. Some flushing toilets (no night lights) outdoor rinse showers, camp kitchen with gas cookers but no water. We came after the rain and some sites were not fit for camping. Water does not drain away due to clay soil so be aware on the lower sites. Better signage is required when entering the main camp ground. In our 4 days here, some 20+ cars and van...

Great Site nestled in with bushes on either side, and good width for van and Awning. Not much shade, good for solar generation :-)

The beautiful Sandy Cape Recreation Park is a coastal bushland campground with 112 unpowered sites accessible by two-wheel drive vehicle. Some additional camping areas are available along the coastal strip to the north and south of the main campground. These areas are only available to campers travelling by high clearance 4x4 vehicle with self-contained accommodation, with toilet.
