The site is roomy with lots of shade ideal for a larger camper trailer setup or a longer / wider van. Right next to the beach access and the camp kitchen / beach showers so super convenient

Yes, it can get pretty windy along the coast Brian :-) We find some of the best weather for coastal camping is during autumn, in case you want to try for a milder time of the year for a stay at Sandy Cape.

The beautiful Sandy Cape Recreation Park is a coastal bushland campground with 112 unpowered sites accessible by two-wheel drive vehicle. Some additional camping areas are available along the coastal strip to the north and south of the main campground. These areas are only available to campers travelling by high clearance 4x4 vehicle with self-contained accommodation, with toilet.
