Site quite small. Very close to neighboring site where we had duf duf music all day. He also had a toilet close to our door where he would per every half hour. So we went to the beach only to find another couple of 4x4s also playing the worst possible noise. We won’t be back.

The site was clean, tidy, and conveniently located near the toilets. We had some stunning sightings of frogmouth owls, manta rays, and dolphins. The only drawback was the headlights of cars at night as they approached the caretaker's area, but this was just a minor inconvenience. Overall, it was an amazing experience once again.

The beautiful Sandy Cape Recreation Park is a coastal bushland campground with 112 unpowered sites accessible by two-wheel drive vehicle. Some additional camping areas are available along the coastal strip to the north and south of the main campground. These areas are only available to campers travelling by high clearance 4x4 vehicle with self-contained accommodation, with toilet.
