We love Sandy Cape and are regular visitors. This is the first time we've been since the new booking system has kicked in and our experience was good. We wanted to be close to the toilets but on reflection site 13 was not the best choice since it is on the junction of 2 access roads and the dust and speeding traffic made for a messy experience. I realise this could be tricky to impose but speed ...

Great spot central to camp kitchen and toilet facilities. Beach a 1min walk. Face the van other way around though as it gets heaps of wind. Nice site 🙂

Great spot, clean and tidy, place for a contained open fire, toilet block and kitchen just 20m. Great spot to camp.

The beautiful Sandy Cape Recreation Park is a coastal bushland campground with 112 unpowered sites accessible by two-wheel drive vehicle. Some additional camping areas are available along the coastal strip to the north and south of the main campground. These areas are only available to campers travelling by high clearance 4x4 vehicle with self-contained accommodation, with toilet.
