Lovely spot, quiet and private. Nice viewing area to watch the sunset, just follow the tracks.

Always heard about Sandy Cape drove past is all the time thought it was over rated this time booked 3 nights site 110 well it's not over rated one of the best camp sites we've been to. The only disappointment is the way some people treat it, leaving dog pooh, rubbish around and speeding thru the park and generally doing the wrong thing. They are in a small minority but still is evident in the park.

Spacious site a bit of protection for the wind ground very hard for pegs we used the longer drill in ones. We had a lovely week. Love the coffee van at the T Junction as you come in. Easy access to dump points and rubbish bins Would definitely come back the beach was beautiful just to much weed in water for my liking

The beautiful Sandy Cape Recreation Park is a coastal bushland campground with 112 unpowered sites accessible by two-wheel drive vehicle. Some additional camping areas are available along the coastal strip to the north and south of the main campground. These areas are only available to campers travelling by high clearance 4x4 vehicle with self-contained accommodation, with toilet.
