Awesome spot. Found it clean, good hard ground for tent pens for the wind

Wide site and easy to park caravan. Elevated with views but also exposed to strong winds. Short walk over sand dunes to beach.

Great camp site , lovely view. The people before us left us some wood, but they also left coals smouldering in the grass behind the site. It would have been an issue if no one was on the site to notice when the fire flared back up! Might be worth following them up to remind them to fully douse their campfire before they leave

The beautiful Sandy Cape Recreation Park is a coastal bushland campground with 112 unpowered sites accessible by two-wheel drive vehicle. Some additional camping areas are available along the coastal strip to the north and south of the main campground. These areas are only available to campers travelling by high clearance 4x4 vehicle with self-contained accommodation, with toilet.
