Community Renewal & Riverside Setting
Built in 2010 to replace a condemned building, the Judbury Community Centre has quickly become the social, historic, and geographical heart of the locality. Located on the picturesque Huon River within a large recreational precinct, the centre combines stunning water views with comprehensive community facilities.
Comprehensive Recreation Facilities
The precinct features a full-sized cricket oval with dedicated Cricket Clubroom, serving both local teams and providing versatile space for sporting activities and large community events. A purpose-built kayak landing area offers safe river access for water sports enthusiasts, positioning Judbury as a key stop along the Huon River recreational corridor.
Vibrant Community Hub
The integration of sports facilities, water access, and flexible meeting spaces creates an environment where multiple aspects of community life intersect. This comprehensive approach fosters spontaneous connections, strengthens social bonds, and provides numerous entry points for community engagement, making Judbury Community Centre a model for successful rural community development.
