The space was lovely! Nice and cool in the shade that the trees provided. A perfect space for a party or picnic during summer as it is very close to the water playground for the kiddies. However, most people at the park do not pay to reserve a space for their parties. When we arrived a party was set up and underway in the space we had booked and it can be quite awkward to ask people to move once they had already set up. Might be worth having 'reserved' signs or something similar for those areas that are booked and paid for.

Hyde Park, specifically section 17, was the perfect setting for our engagement party picnic. The setting itself was absolutely stunning with the beautiful big trees and pond in the background. The council was flexible and allowed us to have wine barrel tables and pallet furniture which turned out beautifully. We had no issue whatsoever and are so happy with how everything went. Thank you city of Vincent
