About this space
The Innisfail Showgrounds, also known as Pease Park, is a community hub located in Innisfail. Known for hosting the Innisfail Annual Show in July. This event celebrates local agriculture and community, featuring competitions for livestock, produce, arts, and crafts, as well as entertainment like rides and live music. The showgrounds also host various other community activities.
Council only Hires out the following:
Under the Grandstand
Large Covered Area ( SeePoy Pavilion)
Small Covered Area
Extension (downstairs extension only, off the side of the Russ Hinze building)
Full ground and all covered areas (excludes the centre arena and turf racetrack)
Note: The cold room & island bar no longer available for hire

Rules
We no longer take bookings for private parties or weddings. Bookings for private parties which serve alcohol (21st parties etc) are not allowed. These are better suited to other venues in town.
Council excepts Private bookings for community groups or bookings for commercial purposes
- Camping - Conditions of stay on permit – obtaining an event permit from Regulatory Services who may have other conditions that apply.
The Hirer is responsible for all furniture set-up, pack-down, and cleaning after the event.
A Security Bond will be held as a pre-authorisation on the nominated credit card:
$500 for low-risk events
$1,000 for high-risk or licensed events
A Key Bond of $100 will also be held as a pre-authorisation on the nominated credit card.
