Absolutely stunning venue to get married!!

The view from Heathcote Reserve was spectacular, unfortunately I am leaving a partially negative review because the lawn area was not prepared for a Wedding Ceremony booking. The lawn was desperately requiring mowing which made the ceremony setup difficult and the aisle carpet did not sit evenly on the lawn causing it to be an unstable ground to walk down. Considering we paid over $300 for the area we expected the area to be freshly mowed.

Stunning location for our special day. Accommodating with queries/requests. Grass was mowed the day before our ceremony. We did call City of Melville two days before when it was not mowed. It was either already scheduled to be mowed or they actioned it straight away. A spectacular day - sailboats on the river - and an amazing sunset (we also had our reception at bluewater). It can get a bit complicated dealing with different parties - spacetoco / city of Melville for the reserve, and bluewater / Fraser’s for the reception venue but it was all worth it!
