About this space
Gallery 1855 is a community art gallery in the historic township of Tea Tree Gully in Adelaide's north east.
The Studio is available for hire by individuals and community groups for visual art, craft, design or cultural activities. Nestled among the trees and with abundant natural light, the studio is an inviting space for creative arts activities.
Hirers enjoy this space for its practical nature as well as the historic charm of the building. For workshops this space can accommodate 12-16 people seated at tables.
The studio includes:
Tables and wipeable tablecloths
14 chairs + 8 stools
Cleaning equipment (broom, mop)
Studio trough sink
Fridge, kettle and microwave
Closed public holidays and during exhibition changeovers.

Rules
Minimum 2 weeks’ notice required for all enquiries and bookings.
You need to be inducted onsite at Gallery 1855 before commencement of your booking.
You will not touch or disturb the artworks on display in the exhibition areas.
Items within the gallery (e.g. flyers, artwork lists, exhibition comments book, etc.) are not to be moved.
You will provide your own cutlery and crockery.
You are responsible for setting up and packing up the venue. All furniture and equipment must be returned to its original location.
The venue is to be kept clean and tidy at all times and left in the original condition it was presented.
Rubbish and waste is to be disposed of appropriately using onsite bins. Any excess rubbish must be removed from the venue.
Smoking is not allowed inside or within 6 metres of the entrance to the venue.
Decorations on the Studio walls are not allowed and helium balloons must be weighted. Smoke machines are not allowed in the venue.
