About this space
Hold your next group fitness class, surf school or community group meet-up at Port Beach. This booking gives the hirer the right of USE for a select area of the beach. It does not guarantee exclusivity; this is still a public space and can be used as such.
The City does not take bookings for private gatherings including picnics, parties, or weddings. Please contact Coast Port Beach for all wedding enquiries.
For fitness groups & personal trainers use the discount code "FITNESS GROUP" to apply the discount day rate of $15 p/hr.
For all other commercial bookings please ensure to apply the commercial fee to your booking. For larger events of over 50 people, please contact the City's Events Team [email protected]
SURF SCHOOLS
Surf Schools please book areas 2,3 or 4. Up to two operates may be permitted to use the same area at the same time. The below seasonal rates are available for Surf Schools wishing to operate on the beach. For casual hirers use the following discount codes when making your bookings. The set fee will be applied to your booking on approval. Public liability is required for all seasonal bookings.
Winter (April–September): $798.00 - discount code WINTER
Summer (October–March): $852.00 - discount code SUMMER
Full Year Access (12 months from booking date): $1,600.00 - discount code FULL YEAR

Rules
Hirers must not interfere with the operations of permanent businesses. Please do not set up directly in front of Coast. Any complaints received will result as future booking being cancelled.
Hirers are required to provide a copy of their Public Liability insurance
Vehicles are not to be driven on reserves under any circumstances without prior approval.
No rubbish to be left on site
Signage such as teardrop flag, Aframe billboards, posters etc can only be on display during the booking period.
Hirers cannot erect any infrastructure without prior approval from the council.
No amplified music to be played.
No fires.
The City does not take bookings for private gatherings including picnics, parties, or weddings.
Our beaches and reserves are public spaces. Every endeavour should be made by the hirer to offer any unused space to the general public to use.
